FAQ
01. I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! I get it - I'm a bit awkward myself when I'm on the other side of the lens. A photoshoot with me is always a safe space. I'll direct you with posing, but vetoes and suggestions are always allowed! Feel free to send me a Pinterest board of suggestions, a list of dislikes, or any other preferences before our session. I got you!
03. How long until we can see our pictures?
This varies depending on the season! I always offer sneak peek previews of your gallery within one-week (usually sooner). The turnaround time of your gallery depends on how busy the season is, but I offer an estimate at the time of booking. You can always reach out and ask for updates, too!
02. Do you offer video services or second photographers for weddings?
I do not offer video services as I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. A second photographer can be included or added to my wedding packages at the time of booking.
04. Will you edit all our pictures?
I'll expertly cull the raw photos from your day to create a refined gallery including all non-repeat images that are up to my high standards. All of these images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, etc. to ensure they look beautiful. I also include minor retouching like skin touch-ups and teeth whitening at no extra charge.
05. How hands-on are you when shooting weddings?
The short answer: however involved you need me to be. I try to blend in as much as possible and be a fly on the wall so you can live fully in the moment - after all, it's your wedding day, not a photoshoot. That being said, I'm eager to take charge and direct when needed (think arranging family portraits and keeping things on schedule) so every moment can be perfectly captured in time.
07. Will you help us with our wedding timeline?
Absolutely! I typically schedule a few check-in calls with my couples leading up to their wedding day to go over timelines, shot lists, and any other expectations or last-minute details. I'm here to offer advice, support, and opinions as much or as little as you need during the wedding planning process.
06. Can I include pets or family in my photos?
Of course! The more, the merrier. I always LOVE including loved ones in photo sessions, fur babies included. It can be a great idea to bring snacks or toys for young kiddos or pups to keep them happy and occupied during the session. Just make sure to give me a heads up so I can be fully prepared to capture this added dynamic!
08. What locations or venues do you offer?
Portraits: I have a list of preferred locations, which are featured in my location guide document that I'll share once we nail down a date. Any locations not on there may require a travel fee, depending on where they are.
Weddings: I'm happy to work with any venue! Depending on where they're located, some may require a travel fee to cover gas, lodging, etc., but I am happy to travel around AZ!
