I wanted to share a more personal blog today with some travel photos from my trip to Oregon with my family. Five Arizona dwellers in the PNW makes for a grand adventure (and yes, I am *that* person on the trip taking photos of everything). Exploring lush old-growth forests, foggy coastlines, and rainy towns was certainly a big change from the Phoenix climate that my boyfriend, parents, sister, and I are used to!
We visited so many unique locations that it's still hard to pick a favorite. Some activities that stood out though were cloudy beach days in Manzanita, vibrant tide pools in Canon Beach, the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park and the Maritime Museum in Astoria, the Tillamook Creamery, Cape Meares Lighthouse, and hunting for sand dollars and agates along the coast. All in all, it was a great trip to take different types of photographs than I'm used to. Of course, I had to sneak in some portraits whenever possible, but it was fun to experiment outside my comfort zone with nature and landscape photography.
