My shooting style on wedding days is a unique blend of curated direction and fly-on-the-wall documentary. On the one hand, this is your wedding day, not a photoshoot. You and your guests should be able to enjoy every candid moment naturally. On the other hand, you shouldn't have to worry about how the details and "must-have" shots come into play. You should be able to trust your photographer to wrangle family members for portraits, take charge during pre-ceremony photos, and perfectly execute your vision during your couple's portraits. That's why I make sure to bring a mixture of go-with-the-flow energy and a take-charge attitude to every wedding day. You can enjoy your day, your way, and trust me to capture not just the big moments, but every little one in between.
My editing style is curated to embed emotion in every photograph. Vibrant colors combined with a bright, airy feel give my final images a romantic, emotional feel, allowing you relive your favorite memories every time you look back at them. My wedding galleries always include basic global adjustments (exposure, contrast, etc.), natural retouching (light skin smoothing, blemish removal, eye brightening, teeth whitening.), and subtle local adjustments (removing distractions, touching-up shadows, etc). With these adjustments included in the cost of all of my wedding packages, you can be sure that your wedding album will look vibrant, natural, and timeless (like the images below).
