I just love when clients have a specific vibe in mind for photos, especially for family sessions. It's so fun to work together to bring their vision to life! This family, for example, wanted a mix of a classic southwest feel with traditional family portraits, plus some fun shots of their little ones. The great thing about working in Phoenix is that there is beautiful desert all around - which is especially nice if you're visiting the area on vacation, like this family. We chose a spot with lovely vegetation, a rustic fence for variety, and an easily accessible stone bench for photos with grandparents. Their coordinated outfits - classic with a touch of western - perfectly melded everything together for a session that combined their vision with my portrait photography experience. All in all, this has been one of my favorite family galleries!
