One of my favorite things about senior portrait sessions is that there are SO many options for personalization. We can go very traditional, wearing formal attire underneath cap and gown in front of your school’s iconic architecture. This is a fantastic way to capture elegant, timeless photos to look back on for years to come. Another option is to shake things up a bit - unique locations, outfits that show off your shining personality, props related to your major, including important people and animals, etc. This adds a unique, unorthodox spin to your photographs, celebrating your journey as both a student and a person. The great news is, there’s no right or wrong answer here. Whether you’re vibe is stylized, editorial, goofy, easy-going, professional, or something else altogether, we can work together to create a session that showcases what makes you, YOU!
This ASU graduate’s session is a great example of combining many of these aspects into a highly customized session. We combined whimsical, fairytale vibes in a rose garden with a professional, editorial feel in a library, creating a personalized gallery to celebrate the uniquely beautiful and multifaceted story of this client as a person and student.
